Susan here, checking in to make sure you’re okay, and to let you know all of us at Great Voice are doing well.

It’s been awhile since I published an issue of my Inside Voice Over video training blog -everything has been turned upside down for all of us-but now we’re finding our footing and I’ve got a great voice over training video for you today.

The topic is “How To Deal With Bad Voice Over Advice,” the kind that makes you want to sell your microphone, shut everything down and run for the hills.

You know what I’m talking about: the naysayers who tell you COVID killed voice over, everything is shut down and the timing is terrible to try to start a home based voice over business.

Well those people have no idea what they’re talking about. They have their own envy and misinformed reasons for wanting to discourage you.

Voice over is now and has always been a work from home online opportunity, perfect for times like these. And while on-camera production may be temporarily suspended, voice over continues to thrive.

There are daily auditions for commercials from brands who want to assure us that even though, we’re apart, we’re all in this together.

There are new opportunities in medical and educational E-Learning, COVID-related updates from banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions, and audio books and video game production continuing to thrive.

So let’s explore this, shall we?
