So\u2026you’re getting ready to launch your voice over career (or thinking about it). <\/p>\n
One of the thorniest issues I see newcomers struggling with is auditions.<\/p>\n
These days, with all the on-line casting services, getting auditions isn’t the problem. <\/p>\n
It’s booking the job (and actually making some money) that frustrates people. <\/p>\n
Some people do hundreds of auditions without booking a thing. <\/p>\n
They lose confidence, throw in the towel and put their equipment up for sale on eBay.<\/p>\n
I call that “the voice over walk of shame” and it’s ugly.<\/p>\n
They assume that the reason they are not successful is because there’s something wrong with them. <\/p>\n
And that’s just flat out wrong, and it breaks my heart<\/p>\n
You see, the reason for their failure is \u2026<\/p>\n
They’re playing the wrong game and they don’t even know it!<\/p>\n
