Some people wrack their brains trying to figure this one out.
They spend a ton of money on high-priced branding packages: professionally designed logos, mousepads, coffee cups and other gimmicks to try to grab attention.
But does it work? Is it really worth the money?
I must admit that my take on branding is a little unorthodox, even renegade.
This week I’ve got some unusual (and even odd!) branding strategies that have the potential to not only save you lots of money, but help skyrocket your way to voice over success.

Helps you find your voice and your inner entrepreneur
“Susan Berkley and her team are hands down the best of the best when it comes to teaching voice over and the business of the craft. Susan’s knowledge, expertise and integrity make her the perfect person to help you find both your voice and your inner entrepreneur. My experience at “Voice-Over Boot Camp” played an integral role in launching my voice over career. The guidance in the booth and the industry insight that was shared, was truly invaluable”. An Immersion in Putting Vision into Practice
“I felt welcomed by everyone involved with Voice Over Boot Camp event. The way the course is laid out helped me see the practical side of the business. Susan and her team also stoked the fire of my dream to become a Voice Over Artist. I loved the entire experience, and the group of people were of diverse backgrounds and parts of the country (even Western Canada), making for an incredible, encouraging experience. I learned to look at my career from multiple angles, not simply from the “sound”. Well worth the investment. I’m looking forward to learning and growing my brand under The Great Voice Company’s tutelage!” Daric Abbott
The Great Voice Company Voiceover Boot Camp – Just Do It!
“What I value most from the Boot Camp are two things. First, it persuaded me that this voiceover dream that I’ve wondered about for so many years could indeed become a reality. I found the Boot Camp a real jumpstart to my progress in the voiceover industry. Second, while the Boot Camp offered excellent instruction on the performance and technical side of voiceover it also placed significant emphasis on its business and entrepreneurial side. You emerge with a clear road map for advancing your voiceover career. It’s up to you what you do with that toolbox but the Boot Camp definitely equips you with everything you need. All of this is somehow achieved in the span of a thoroughly enjoyable long weekend. Considering the quality and extent of the instruction, the Boot Camp is a bargain. If you’re looking for the right on-ramp into voiceover, The Great Voice Company’s Voiceover Boot Camp is second to none. Just do it!” Angus Gunn
Thank you Susan. I have found all of your blogs and videos very helpful and inspiring. My career over the past four decades has for the most part been as an actor/singer-songwriter. There has been a lot of moving around the proverbial canvas focus-wise in both the performing and visual arts. Here are links to what I’ve been up to: http://www.vancleavemusic.com and http://www.notforgottenpowmia.com
I have done voice over work sporadically through the years and now at 66 am feeling that it would be good to start moving more of my focus into voice acting. I am currently co-writing songs for a new musical that a very well-known friend in musical theater has written so this project has me very busy now through the summer. Thank you again for all that you do to encourage and inform those of us interested in voice over careers.
Very fun and I love the notion of zeroing in on an industry as your branding segmentation.
P.S. I would LOVE to know how many golf-focused voiceover talents were created as a result of this video. 🙂
