You’re listening back to one of your voice over recordings and wait…what’s that hissing sound?

Yikes! It’s coming from your mouth!

A hissing S, or sibilance, is a common problem and it can really mess up an otherwise great sounding read.

Both men and women can suffer from this frustrating problem, and the older you get, the worse it can become.

You can’t edit it out because it’s part of the words themselves.

Got a hissing S? If so, all is not lost.

There are several things you can do to minimize a hissing S and maybe eliminate it altogether and that’s the subject of this week’s Inside Voice Over Video Training Blog

After you watch the video, I want to know your thoughts. Was this helpful? Write to me in the comments box. I want to learn what’s on your mind so I can support you and share your best practices.
