Some people wrack their brains trying to figure this out.
They spend a ton of money on high-priced branding packages, professionally designed logos, mousepads, coffee cups and other gimmicks to try to grab attention.
But does it work? Is it really worth the money?
I must admit that my take on branding is a little unorthodox, even renegade.
So let’s take a look.
In this week’s Inside Voice Over I’ve got some unusual (and even odd!)branding strategies that have the potential to not only save you money, they can help skyrocket you to voice over success.
Watch this week’s short training video Here Now
After you watch the video be sure to leave a comment. I always love to hear from you so I can support you as you grow your voice over career.
To your voice over success,

Great tips Susan! Thanks for more ideas on how to keep us on the path to success with our Voice Over businesses.
You’re welcome Kelli. Your GVC submission was very polished and well put together.
Thanks again for sharing your wisdom!
It’s definitely a balancing act between the work and developing a brand. I’m trying to be a bit more patient with myself and let this happen more organically!
Jennifer, as you take action, you’ll be able to identify what serves you and what does not. It’s as if you’re driving a car at night your headlights shine roughly 50 feet in front of you. As you drive, the rest of the road becomes clear to ultimately arrive at your destination. Even though you can’t see the end destination when you first start – you eventually arrive – as long as you follow the map and head the correct way.
The same goes for this industry. I never had planned to records hundreds of thousands of telephone prompts. But I took the best action I could, stayed open, learned and applied myself along my journey.
Continue taking action and being patient with yourself.
Really great advice, thank you. I already have my ‘brand name’ which covers everything that I do, including Voice Over, video, film and photo digitising etc but I understand what you mean about branding and customer service, having been a self employed computer engineer many years back I did offer excellent customer service and all of my clients were by referral, I never advertised, I never had to. Love your videos, thank you for sharing them with us.
Thanks so much for sharing John. I appreciate the kind words. Keep everyone posted on your success!
Very timely as I am working on the “branding” for my business. “The voice of the energy industry.” Still working on it, LOL. I love these VO video tips. Thank you!
That’s all you have to do Oneal! Keep on working and apply what we went over in the GV Challenge. Let me know how I can support you.
