Can you sound like a gerbil, a martian, your Aunt Gertrude?
Do your funny voices make people laugh out loud or do they groan and beg you to stop?
If the reaction is positive, you might be wondering if you can turn those funny little voices into lucrative voice over income in cartoons, commercials or maybe even video games.
I’ll be straight with you here.
It takes much more than just a handful of funny little voices to become a professional cartoon and character voice actor…much more.
But let’s dive deeper in this week’s video training blog to explore the subject. I think you’ll be surprised at what I have to say.
Watch It Here Now
After you watch the video, I want to know your thoughts. Was this helpful? Write to me in the comments box. I want to learn what’s on your mind so I can support you and share your best practices.

Fabulous tips. Seems like common sense but in our enthusiasm we can forget the practicalities. Thanks.

Good to hear from you again, Royal Thanks for writing! Susan
As always, I couldn’t agree more Susan. In 2012 you were kind enough to give me a critique and possible niches. You were also the first one to suggest character voices for me. This year I began practicing characters on my own. I’m up to about 26 voices. I’ll be releasing a demo on characters in 2017. All of my characters are original people I’ve met throughout my walks of life. Big thanks Susan!
