(I highly recommend the biography of Dale Carnegie- “Self-help Messiah”)
Rock guitarists spend hours learning the famous licks of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.
And artists visit the great museums of the world to sketch the great masters.
In voice over, we always suggest that our students do something called “tape and ape,” recording and trying to imitate the work of top voice over artists.
This is one of the fastest and best ways to get the knack of voice over performance into your DNA.
Having voice over “chops” is a given if you want to enjoy success.
