This week I’m going to tackle a very delicate question. It’s one we get a lot.
How long does it *really* take to make money in voice over?
Let me be perfectly straight with you.
If you need money now, this is not the path for you.
As a voice over artist, you’re a freelancer and that means you don’t get a salary.
Your success (or lack of it) depends on how hard you work and whether or not you have the right tools, the right marketing plan and great coaching to help you develop your natural abilities and stay on track.
And that takes time.
But here’s the thing.
One day, you’ll have a ‘mature’ voice over business with regular clients you can count on year after year.
That’s what I’ve done, and it’s what I teach my students.
Check out this week’s short video training on building your voice over business and then let me know what you think, ok?
And after you watch the video I want to know about any challenges (and victories!) you’re having growing your voice over business.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments box. I want to read about what’s on your mind so I can support you.
To your voice over success,
Susan Berkley,
Founder, The Great Voice Company
Hi Susan…I already new part of what you were gonna say before I saw the video…..because I’ve been thru some of the experiences already having been in the radio business for so long and doing voice overs and production on the side…You are on point and I will sign up for the 19.95 consultation, probably, at the first of the year, to see how I and take it to the next level(smile)…Keep up the good work. You are a blessing.
Happy Thanksgiving
