It’s not voodoo.
It’s not “The Secret” or Feng Shui (the Chinese art of placement for good luck).
It’s a very real law of physics which, when purposefully activated, can yield almost magical results in your voiceover career.
What am I talking about?
Momentum.
When momentum kicks in, your voiceover career seems to take on a life of its own. What once seemed difficult becomes almost easy and opportunities seem to fall into your lap.
But in order to gather momentum in voiceover, you must make a serious commitment to speed.
That means no more pussy footing around and waiting for perfection. You must jump into action on all fronts starting now.
Exactly how to do this is the topic of this week’s Inside Voice Over video training blog.

Such a nice tone. I really like your deal, and if i were closer to NY , i would want to go to boot camp. From your online class, one of he assignments was to look for local studios and i found 3 local Voice over Schools, and decided i need to go where there really were real people doing this. I went to Voice One in SF, and Voice Trax in Sausalito. I had bought the apogee mic you said you use for travel, and now in a Home recording class at Voice Trax , Jim Edgar does not favor an apogee. Any way, i appreciate your sweet positive get going message here, and for a number of issue, not least of which is contacts, going to Voice Trax here, seems better than trying to work with you on line, but i just appreciate, like this video. Good for you, creating positive forward energy like this. Totally tubular, koolaceous , stellar incredible , marvelous . I still wonder, is this really a path that leads anywhere? But, a bit over a year ago, i looked up something to do with my voice, i did not know what voice over was, and i found you and your course on line. I just appreciate you, and your sweet positive energy , thank you. gg
Hi Susan,
I’m seeing results of the momentum I’ve created in my other businessas an art model in the SF Bay Area, and I’m signed up for a voiceover workshop in a couple weeks over in Sausalito – I need to update my demo, I have notes on what I need to acquire to get my home studio going, and I’m working on my personal resistance to doing things that will make me successful. I understand momentum, YES!
Thank you for being a resource,
Sonia

Great advice! Do you have a video about selecting a microphone? USB or otherwise?
Great advice as always! Thanks for the valuable information and your professional insight. I look forward to your next video!
