I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “Don’t quit your day job.”

It calls to mind humiliating Star Search auditions or your tone deaf Cousin Zelda screeching her favorite aria at Thanksgiving dinner…again.

Nobody wants to be “that guy”.

But here’s the thing.

Your poor deluded cousin is an embarrassment to the family not because of her lack of talent but because of her confidence in her lack of talent.

She hasn’t even thought to do what a normal person would do to develop themselves…study, practice and humbly seek feedback from a qualified and supportive teacher –and when ready– a receptive audience.

Talent is developed in action and meant for the enjoyment and benefit of others, not to feed our own ego.

So with that in mind, check out this week’s Inside Voice Over short video training blog and then let me know your thoughts in the comments section. I always love to hear from you.
